Cruising through the Panama Canal and Other Adventures

With the Lord Jesus by our side, Ron and I arrived in LA from Houston on May 3, our fifteenth anniversary. The next day we ferried over to Catalina Island.

Here's the Casino which means a gathering place, not a place to gamble. It was used for live shows and then silent movies. Now they show current movies and use the banquet hall for celebrations - wedding receptions and other private parties.
The Casino still has the original brass and glass art deco.

  1. Great photos, Diane! What a wonderful route you took.
Now....down to business....I want your clothes (bigger sizes), jewelry, and that big pink hat!
And one more thing....I want to be able to dance like you. Forget the zipling, though.
    So glad you shared these.
    Amore,
    C.B.
